01:54:01 <TorC> With scarier floors, I'd tend to think an ideal autoexplore would clear ~15-20 tiles around a stair with a bit of doubling back if needed to ensure safety, then try to keep a broad path back to the stair, at least by sound travel, while clearing methodically.
